about
I am an early-career conceptual artist with a focus on the body, object and identity. Through sculptures and performative installations, I investigate sexuality and gender politics. My work often protests violence.
artist statement
I am trying to get to the bottom of something. It has to do with the intersection of the things that move me. It is a place in my head where art, protest, and rave culture (or dance) meet. These are all spaces of freedom, uninhibited visibility, and revolution. Although often problematic, they are places where humans witness, accept and align with each other, where we exist as individuals and as a collective. I am performing what I seek – a connection with bodies - physical, psychological, and spiritual.
